Due to the current situations my creativity has to get creative. Usually this is the season were there would be many festivals and music shows to shoot, but since a lot of them has been cancelled, I have found myself finding other creative outlets.
I have gone back into doing some stock photos, and find some motivations when I saw some pictures had been downloaded. With stock photos you need to get creative by everyday subjects and things and you do not necessarily have to think outside the box all of the time.
Editing YouTube videos has also been a good creative outlet, which has enabled me in concentrating my energy at one task at a time, and also planning and shooting it myself. I just started doing more video this year, just for the purpose of gaining that skill, and boy is it a lot of work! But it is very gratifying seeing your work and vision coming to life. I hope by the end of this year, my editing skills have improved and I have found my style. A dream of mine has always been creating music videos, and hopefully this new skill I am learning could be useful in the long run.
I also feel that working out is in a way a creative outlet for me, I am forming and creating myself. It sounds a bit funny but I feel it is true.
